Monday smiles

Happy Monday everyone...I'm enjoying it, even though the weather is ishy so I can't go on my stroller ride. It's my three month birthday today and I get to play with Daddy ALL evening long since Mommy is at work. How much you wanna bet he lets me stay up late to celebrate?!! Shh, don't tell Mommy! Posted by Picasa

Flyin' into Friday

TGIF everyone! I'm zooming into Friday a little early - Grandpa is here to play with me so I'm celebrating getting out of running errands with Mom! For some reason everyone is pretty cheerful around here today....could have something to do with the fact that I decided to sleep for almost 6 hours straight last night - maybe I'll try that again sometime...:-)

She ROLLS!

That's right folks, she's 11 weeks old tomorrow and she's rolled a total of five times so far!! She gets to her side and sometimes gets stuck for a minute...but after many little grunts and lots of effort she rolls all the way onto her back! She is full of smiles when she does it...it's like she knows its a big achievement!
As for the parents, we're realizing things get a big more complicated when they start to move on their own....I guess we can't leave her alone on the couch anymore when we need to run into the other room...:-)

Stocking stuffer

Got nothing but coal in your stocking this year!? You can share in some of our present! Even better is the story of how she filled her diaper while in the stocking. Wow, is she ever going to love us for this one...

A New Year!

Happy 2006 everyone! Here's to a new year and a fresh start! Doesn't it feel good!? You'll note that even our blog has a fresh new look! We have a heaping pile holiday photos and stories to be shared but they will have to wait... for this blog is dedicated to my Ohana family. Ohana means family, in an extended sense of the term, that means no one gets left behind or forgotten. In our home it is a term of endearment. For those of you have not had the pleasure of seeing Lilo and Stitch, I suggest you make it one of your new year resolutions in order to experience the full meaning of the term. This past year, my Ohana family has come to mean more to me and brought more joy than I ever imagined possible. So I'll start the new year with a simple thank you... to my Ohana family, for all your beautiful smiles, laughs, cries (and squaks).

May 2006 bring you and yours adventures beyond your wildest resolutions!

(Oh, and sorry to Gandhi who got left out of the Kodak moment but remains a full fledged member of the Ohana family)
