We're off...

Well, we're going to begin making the Christmas rounds this weekend, so our blog might be quiet for a bit - but there will be lots upon our return! Alex and I should see the movie Four Christmases, because we might identify with it! With the events in my family last year, Alex and I are experiencing it firsthand...yes, we will be attending not one, not two, not three, but four Christmas celebrations. Lucky? Yes, lucky to be able to visit everyone...but below is a picture of Abbie after just one of our Christmas celebrations! A high dose of excitement coupled with no nap = exhausted three year old! At least Isabel napped :-) All the presents are wrapped, the van is loaded (almost!), portable secret weapons charged (DVD players) and as long as we kick the nasty colds we have before celebrations #2,#3, #4 we should hang strong til the end!
Maybe everyone have a very merry Christmas!

Addendum: Yeah, this is your husband and in the holiday hoopla you seemed to have missed one... our OWN family Christmas when we return from big the MN adventure. Have mercy on our toyboxes...

In the presence of a gentleman...

Our good friends, The Gubbins', celebrated Thanksgiving with us and a jolly time was had by all! Simon, 11 months, was the perfect little gentleman the entire visit - eating all his food, playing with kind manners, and sleeping almost entirely through the night (not that we would've minded a few peeps - he would've had good company in our childrens' nighttime waking habits!).

Sharing a Cheerio snack

The baby and the cornish game hen - this particular pose is sort of a tradition

The whole gang enjoying a wild - although rather nippy - ride at the park!

Daddy Transport - Did he know this would be a requirement when he signed up for fatherhood?!

Bathttime! Make that communal bathtime...how many people can we get in our 8x6ft bathroom? Hmm...think we could've gotten four more in that Party Tub?
