Halloween and Birthday

This is a catch-up blog on all our recent events: Abbie's fourth birthday!!, Halloween, visitors, fun in the leaves, Emelia models some neobulle baby wraps...

Sisters jumping in leaves...Emelia is slightly confused at this fall tradition...

Papa reading books to #1 and #3

Abbie has been asked to be a flower girl in Alex's cousin Kelsey's wedding in the spring. Needless to say it has been VERY difficult to try on the dress and then put it away again... I think we've tried it on and put it away about 4 times now...:-) She loves fancy dresses...

Good job Daddy...now, can you get her from the wrap to the cradle without waking? Maybe you should just sleep on your back with baby on the front tonight :-)

Grandpa reading Izzie's lastest fav series - the I Spy books...

The set-up for a morning of play...I was told she was emailing on her Pooh computer while her baby snuggled her...hmm....this sounds familiar ;-)

Emelia is SIX WEEKS OLD TODAY! Wow, how time flies...my friend, Katie, made her this adorable hat

When Emelia was only two weeks old a friend of mine asked me to model some wraps that she sells in her online store. I am a HUGE fan of babywearing and gladly agreed - she needed babies of various sizes and Emelia was the "teeny-tiny baby" catagory! She slept the whole time...but this wrap was given to us by the friend after the photo shoot and it's Emelia's favorite babywearing device to this day :-) It was something special that just Emelia and I got to do...something unique for the third baby!

Happy Fourth Birthday, Abigail Anne!!! She requested a "rainbow cake that's white on the inside with purple frosting and strawberries on top" so...here is what we created! I think she was pleased...we can't believe you are four! And, at other times...we cannot believe you are ONLY four! The things you say and do...sigh...you are so precious to us, Abbie Anne!

Grandma and Grandpa meet Emelia for the first time!

A chicken, a butterfly, a lion and two Zookeepers...;-)

Trick-or-Treat! The girls really got into it this year...SOOOO excited. Their candy lives on top of the fridge and they haven't yet forgotten about it....neither have I ;-)
