HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABIGAIL ANNE!

Happy Birthday to our special Abbie Dabbie Doo!

Abigail Anne - you are two years old today. It's hard for us to believe that you have blessed our lives for two years. We can't imagine life without you, and wouldn't want to. We love you more than we can express and we eagerly anticipate watching you blossom over another year...you make us laugh every day with your antics and the things you say - you have quite the sense of humor! We love watching the world through your eyes, the slightest thing can amuse you. You have helped us re-discover our world. Thank you for teaching us so much in the short time you have been here with us...we love you!!

Bah!

So much blogging to do and so few pictures! Our new fangled computer doesn't seem to play nicely with our ol' trusty camera. Until they can work out their differences our precious moments are locked inside!

12 pounds and a Visitor!

So, Mama and Abbie took Miss Isabel Elizabeth to her 6 week pediatrician visit (somehow Abbie was the one who got a sticker?!) and when the nurse weighed our baby, I had to ask her to repeat herself!! Isabel weighed 11lbs 14 oz!! She is in the 96% for weight and 80% for height...crazy! No wonder she's already in a size 2 diaper - gotta accomodate those yummy thighs! The rolls and creases are such fun to nibble and she seemes to be quite the happy baby so far! Here she is learning to smile...it's so cute to watch her try!

Auntie Ali paid us a nice visit last weeked to hang out and to meet Isabel - us girls had some fun outings together and Alex was a sport about being sorely outnumbered :-)

Uncle Dan's fancy necklace that Abbie made for him to wear during dinner :-)

And to finish, a "sisters" picture...funny how many shots we have of this pose already :-) What you don't see is the next instant where Abbie is shoving the straw of her sippy cup with diluted juice into Isabel's mouth while intoning "Baby juice? Baby juice?" thinking she is being nice because she's sharing...and then Isabel proceeds to gag and then I run to the rescue and fairly have to pull Abbie off of Isabel because she is straddling her like a horse...there are squirms and screams and everyone is in a tizzy. Ten seconds later all is calm again and Abbie is playing on the rug while Isabel watches intently. One thing I have learned -there is never a dull moment and a dull moment can turn into an un-dull moment very quickly with "two under two" years of age...:-)
