Driving the trainOkay, so the museum was SO busy on Monday, given that it was President's Day, that we didn't even make it around to see Clifford! Bummer...but Abbie didn't seem to mind - she had such fun playing at the exhibits. I had to practically extract her when it was time to go. We have a sort of standing playdate on Thursday with Alaina while her Mommy has a meeting for a few hours. So this morning we played the morning away, had sticky pancakes for lunch and then went down for naptime - leaving Mama to clean up all the toys but also leaving Mama with some time to herself :-) Hence my chance to post a few pics of the musuem visit...
OH AND DADDY PASSED HIS RESEARCH PROPSAL!! Yeay for Daddy...we went out to eat with the group at a (yipes) Bar the other night and Abbie came right along wearing her "Daddy Rocks" shirt and had fun playing the arcade games...and what do ya know...we don't even need quarters to play them at this age!! Pushing the buttons was fun enough...:-)

So, is Abbie going to end up a scientist like her dad? Looks like she's off to a good start. Congrats Alex! I wasn't worried - I knew it would be fine. Katie, be sure you get some rest.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Mom. Oh and Jessica... you sound like my wife. :-) Ha, ha.. just kidding Katie. I'll go ahead and stick my neck out to predict ~1 year (+/- 2 months from today).
