So we've had a blogging deficit once again - there's been lots going on lately! So, here's a first round of catching up!
At the beginning of February, Alex went to a conference for work in sunny California so Katie and the girls went to MN for a week to catch up with her Mom and some friends! We managed to see lots of people - but still didn't get to hang out with everyone - would be nice to live 6 months in MN and 6 months in Chicago :-) It was a wonderful trip!
We had Auntie Ali over for a day to visit and have tea
Lots of snuggles with Nana after she would come home from work
We got to visit my college roommate Rachel and her little girl Brooke - who is Isabel's age!

Our attempt at a group picture!! The one and a half year olds weren's so cooperative! It seems they were in agreement that they weren't feeling photogenic :-)
We got to see Gigi and Great Papa too - they even played dolls!

We visited the Mall of America with Nana and went on rides! The girls loved it - Isabel refused to be left out, which meant I got to accompany her on all the rides...
Nana and Abbie in their hot air balloon - it was so cute to see Abbie's face when she was riding! I was just trying to keep Isabel from climbing out - who, by the way, CLIMBS OUT OF HER CRIB AT 18 MONTHS! That's been our latest adventure...:-)
Visiting Nana at her classroom one day when school was out - the girls are getting the impression that school is all play and no work!

We got to visit Reba and she took us to the zoo and conservatory!! It was really steamy in this rainforest-like exhibit - all of the pictures I took are foggy! Ironically, even though you can't really see it, everyone is smiling and looking at the camera in this picture!
We visited the children's museum with Serena and her daughter Tatianna, who is a few weeks older than Abbie - the girls had so much fun together!
Lastly, this is our latest entertainment after dinner...Daddy invented this game...way to teach your children to march in line early, Daddy!
