Despite the darkness, and even because of it, a great week was had by all including a trip to the Lincoln Park Zoo....
... and pancakes...
... and cookies!

It was an adventure - but a fun one! I can't think of anyone else I'd rather be stranded without electricity with:)
This MUST be your second child...I have yet to see a picture of Isabel by herself! But at least it looks like she's having fun!
